The 12th Annual Obesity Conference is hosting a pre-conference, Wednesday & Thursday, September 8 & 9, 2010, devoted to Physical Activity and Academic Achievement. The goal of this event is to provide evidence-based data to superintendents, teachers, educators and health professionals about the impact of Physical Activity on Academic Achievement. Researchers and educators have turned their focus to this topic and the results show increased test scores, increased attention and less disruptive behavior in the classroom and other positive behaviors associated with academic achievement.
