Online registration for the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association's 2010 National Conference opens today! Each year NFPRHA's national conference assembles the broad spectrum of providers addressing the family planning and reproductive health care needs of low-income and uninsured Americans. The conference will take place April 11 to 14, 2010, at the DoubleTree Crystal City in Arlington, VA. Register by February 12, 2010 to take advantage of special early bird rates!

At Family Planning Peer-to-Peer: Sharing Solutions, Taking Action presentations from experts will supplement opportunities for program administrators and practitioners to grapple with the service delivery and administrative realties they encounter on a daily basis; sharing solutions to tough challenges and taking action to expand access. Discuss your experiences and get advice from family planning colleagues at facilitated roundtables on issues critical to the field and at the Peer-to-Peer Lounge, located in the conference Exhibit Hall. Additional highlights include:

Hill Briefing and Visits - On April 13 the NFPRHA conference moves to Capitol Hill for a briefing and meetings with elected officials to educate them about the important work you do. Our policy staff will help you schedule and prepare for meetings. Newcomers to advocacy can increase their skills and comfort level in our Monday afternoon workshop, Advocacy 101: Hill Visits for Beginners.

Griswold v. Connecticut Capitol Hill Gala Reception - NFPRHA's annual celebration of the Griswold decision is soaring to new heights. Join us April 13 for a roof-top, cocktail reception with spectacular views of the Capitol, the National Mall and the Washington Monument.

The NFPRHA conference gives you the best value for your training dollars. Sunday April 11's afternoon pre-conference sessions provide additional content for conference attendees without additional travel expenses. These longer-format sessions on topics including Medicaid Waivers, Clinic Efficiency, Outcome-Based Performance Measurement and Communications add value to your conference registration. Additionally, conference registration rates are reduced for organizations that send multiple staff members to the conference!
