The 96th Missouri General Assembly session ends Friday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. Several pieces of health-related legislation are currently being considered. Follow the link provided to track a specific bill.
Affordable Care Act - Benefits in Missouri
March 23, 2012, marks the second anniversary of the passage of the Affordable Care Act, a comprehensive program with several components that provide national health insurance reform, which will become fully enacted by 2014. Health and Human Services released new resources this week (see What's New below for full story) to provide Americans with an extensive look at how this bill may impact them. Included in these resources is a comprehensive look at the Affordable Care Act and its impact on Missouri.
HRSA Announces Increased Oversight of 340B
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has launched its own set of actions that will strengthen oversight of its 340B drug discount program.
